Design, Insulation and Technical Equipment
The architectural design, but more importantly, the technical design of the wine cellars should be made by an experienced and professional team of experts in accordance with the wine cellar construction technique and engineering calculations. Improperly designed wine cellars cannot provide the physical conditions needed for your precious wines to age peacefully. In addition to physical conditions such as not excessively high humidity, vibration-free and odorless environment and protection from the harmful effects of the sun, the most important feature that a wine cellar should have is constant temperature.
In order to create an extremely stable and relatively low temperature indoor environment, a detailed “heat gain calculation” should be made and an insulation project should be prepared accordingly. Unplanned insulation causes temperature fluctuations in the tin, excessive humidity, and thus undesirable results such as mold and odor formation.
Isolation
A detailed heat gain calculation of the kava will be made during the project phase. The main criterion in the calculation of heat gain is that the temperature in the tin remains constant at the desired level and very sensitively for 365 days and 24 hours. According to the heat gain calculation, heat insulation, thickness and other properties of which are determined, will be applied to the floor, ceiling and all walls with details that will create heat bridges, and condensation will be prevented by controlling the vapor passage with the insulation to be made.
